A package design for a fictional blind-box toy inspired by TMNT, MadBalls, Garbage Pail Kids, and other slimy mutated classics.
The typography for this brand needed to feel gooey and mutated, so it was a perfect opportunity to do some hand lettering (which appears in the logo and headers of the brand). I'm particularly fond of the “A” with two eyes.
The rogues gallery of mutants was also really fun to design. Coming up with unique mutations for each character was an interesting challenge, and I enjoyed developing the illustration style which was inspired by underground comic artists such as Basil Wolverton and R. Crumb.
